Dear GlaxoSmithKline,

I’m writing in regards to your product Abreva. Abreva is the only FDA approved over the counter medicine to shorten healing time and duration of cold sores. I applaud your efforts. In my opinion, Abreva rocks! If you are able to catch your cold sore at the tingling phase and immediately apply your product, it prevents it from growing larger and can minimize some of the throbbing pain.

However, why, oh why, do you have to make it bright white? It’s bad enough that you have these little blisters protruding from your swollen lips that they feel like they are on the brink of exploding. You know that everyone who sees you is looking right at the freak of nature where lips are supposed to be. No, it’s not a Botox injection gone bad. Then, to add insult to injury, the medicine to help my ailment is bright white. Do you know how many times I have been told that I have tooth paste (or something) on my lips?

For goodness sake, please, please, pretty please, make your product clear. Seriously, how hard could that be? Come on, what do you say?

Kisses,

Puff Lippy
