As you know from yesterday’s post, I was gone this weekend. I left a honey do list for Tim. All of the items on the list related to Trunk or Treat which is this coming Friday. The elementary school that the kids attend hosts a Trunk or Treat event every year. Our whole family dresses up and we decorate our van. I left the list for him because he left town this morning and won’t be home until after midnight Thursday. He usually has an idea on how he wants something done. Then when I don’t do what he thought (even though I didn’t know what he had in mind), the criticism begins. And then he’ll keep joking about it only to irritate me more. So, in order not to deal with that, I leave everything to him.
When I got home on Sunday, the list wasn’t complete. The only real thing completed was the dying of his overalls. And that was done before I left. So we spent Sunday working on the rest of the details. Of course, we haven’t completed the list. He is now at the airport and I am left to finish.
So, hopefully when he returns, I will have completed the list and it will live up to his standards. I think the reason I get so mad at him criticizing is because his ideas are usually better. Anyway, be sure to check back Monday. I’ll have pictures of us.
