This past weekend was definitely my weekend!
SCORE, Tim brought home roses for our anniversary. They are so beautiful! Normally I don’t care about that but it had been a long time since I had gotten flowers and I was hoping I’d get some.
It was our neighborhood garage sale this past weekend as well. One of my neighbors was participating and asked if we wanted to bring anything down. We had been hanging on to Alyssa’s old 20″ bike that she only rode one year. I took it down hoping someone would take it off our hands at a reasonable price. We had gone out to lunch on Saturday and when we returned, SCORE the bike sold!
We had listed our old phones on eBay. The auction ended and SCORE both sold at decent prices.
Tim made his usual trip to the hardware store. While there he had to go to the restroom taking him right past the windows. We are in the process of siding our house and replacing windows. Two weeks ago he tore out the basement windows only to find worms and slugs living in the rotten wood. Don’t even get me started on that. Anyway, sitting there were two custom windows that were returned. Normally, they would cost $275 each. Tim picked them up for $50 each. SCORE! They were a little smaller than the previous windows but a little framing and they were in. They look great!! Double SCORE!

Jake and Claire hosted our kids to a sleepover. It was the first time I can think of that Tim and I were home without kids. SCORE! No fighting, no yelling, just quiet.
SCORE, I got a massage from Tim!
Tim and I sipped on chocolate martinis sitting on the back porch without interruptions. SCORE!
I cleaned the house on Friday and it’s still pretty clean this morning. SCORE!!
I should have bought a lottery ticket…
