Yesterday was the 16th day of school. The bus driver motions me towards the bus as the boys are getting off.
Miss Margaret: “Andy doesn’t want to sit down while I’m driving.”
Me: “OK, I’ll talk to him about it.”
Miss Margaret: “Thank you.”
Me: “No problem.”
Great, not even a month into school and Andy already has two strikes against him. It’s going to be a long school year.

It’s the name…I swear, I should warn all parents even THINKING of naming their son Andrew…If it is any comfort, my andrew, who almost got kicked out of third grade for calling the teacher fat is now running for student council VP and is a Boy Scout in good standing…I also trust him to watch my other children while I work…but the first 9 or so years were questionable!

Ahh, motherhood. Isn’t it great! Never a dull moment.
